American Airlines has just announced last minute flights between San Francisco and Milan for $276 each way. There’s a big asterisk to this fare which suggest up to $100 in additional charges in fees, meaning total cost will should be about $600 roundtrip.
This deal isn’t quite as good of a deal as flights to Spain these days, but having looked for cheap flights to Portugal a number of times, $777 roundtrip is quite less than the $1000 dollars it usually costs to fly here.
Flight Details: Fly out on May 8th on KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, with a short layover in Amsterdam. Fly back on May 19th on France Air, with a short layover in Paris. Total flight time each way is under 16 hours.
Northwest Airlines is offering extremely cheap flights to Rome for just over $500 including taxes. I found a number of flights in late May (when the weather in Rome is the best in my opinion) for under $528. Flights go through Amsterdam, and total flight time is between 15 and 20 hours each [...]
