This July and August, flights to Barcelona from San Francisco have dropped to $664 round trip. This includes taxes and fees. Wednesdays are the cheapest days to fly out and back. Thursdays and Saturdays tend to be pretty cheap days to travel as well.
Flight to Stuttgart, Germany right now are available from SFO for $540 roundtrip on Delta airlines, with either 1 or 2 stops each way depending on which days you fly.
As with the Melbourne flight deal, I’d suggest taking a quick look with Qantas before booking any flights to Australia, as they often have discounts going on as well.
Flights to Australia just keep on getting cheaper. I have found a number of flights on United on many different days in June to Melbourne from San Francisco for $747 roundtrip.
This deal isn’t quite as good of a deal as flights to Spain these days, but having looked for cheap flights to Portugal a number of times, $777 roundtrip is quite less than the $1000 dollars it usually costs to fly here.
Air Canada has just announced a slew of discount international flights. Included in their fare sales is a discount flight from SFO to Montreal, which will cost about $300 roundtrip. The site lists it at $141 each way plus fuel surcharges, which can be about 20 bucks usually.

As part of their ‘Mucho More than Mexico’ sale, AeroMexico is offering discount flights to Lima, Peru from SFO.
