The cheapest flights are typically on Monday through Wednesday and sometimes fly out on Sundays as well.
Flights are with either China Airways or Singapore Air. If I had to choose between the two airlines, I would fly Singapore Air. Asiana Airlines and Korean Air Lines also offer cheap flights to Thailand from San Francisco.
Thailand is now one of if not the cheapest destination in southeast Asia. Flights to Hong Kong have been especially cheap lately, as have flights to Vietnam.
