Get Your Bungee and Jump on at Interlaken Switzerland

This August, September, and October, a number of airlines are offering one-stop flights between Zurich and San Francisco for $685 including all taxes and fees. Flights take about 17 hours each way and usually have a layover in New York, which is about half the distance.

Current discounts are on American Airlines, Delta, United, and Continental.

The cheapest flights fly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but flights on other days only cost a little bit more.

Once in Zurich, I would highly suggest catching a quick train ride to Interlocken, the adventure sports capital of the world, where you can partake in almost any extreme activity you can think of, including canyon jumping, canyon swings, canyoning, zorbing, sky diving, bungee jumping, mountain biking, skiing (in the summer), and many more.
