Total Flight time between SFO and Athens is between 16 and 18 hours. Flying back tends to be a little longer based on jet streams.
I’ve never seen flights this cheap to Athens, and the period of discounted flights is fairly small, so I’d suggest purchasing tickets sooner than later.

Most party goers head straight for Mykonos, Ios, Santorini, Rhodes, Kos, or Korfu. Actually, pretty much all Greek Islands consider themselves a more than adequate place for beaches, discos, and drinks.
