And I thought flights to Barcelona for $664 roundtrip were cheap. As part of the recent fare sales across Europe, Canada Airlines is now offering flights to Madrid roundtrip from San Francisco for $584 in July and August.

I have done a number of flight searches on many different 7 day intervals in July and August, and I continue to see flights for $584, including taxes and fees.

Flights have a short layover in Toronto, which is about half the distance between Madrid and San Francisco.

Flight time between Madrid and San Francisco for one-stop flights is between 14 and 16 hours.

The cheapest flights fly on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, though flying on other days will only be about 50 dollars more expensive.
