$579 - Flights to Hong Kong from San Francisco

Best Noodles in the World? Maybe. A Scene? Definitely.
Flights are DIRECT, I repeat direct, so total flight time is between twelve and fourteen hours each way, and your not risking the chance of missing a connection in some strange Asian country that you haven’t been to before (though this is hardly a risk on major international routes)
Never the less, I’ve had an eye on flights between Hong Kong and San Francisco for the six months, and this is the cheapest its been. This is now one of the cheapest places to fly to in Asia, along with Seoul South Korea.
So What Can You Do in Hong Kong?
Well after you come to terms with the fact that seven million people live here, you have all kinds of options including harbor cruises, hikes, cable car rides, street food, rooftop bars, as well as world-renowned shopping and eating.
You could even grab a pirated movie or two.
First on my list would be Lantau Island, the Horse Track, or a local noodle bar. All mentioned here and here.
Update:
Flights are in the evenings too, so you can miss minimal work days. After doing a few more searches, flights on some days are $654, but again includes all taxes and fees, and flights are direct.
Cheapest flights are in September and October.
