$139 - Flights to Seattle from San Francisco in July

Virgin America is offering direct roundtrip flights to Seattle from San Francisco for $139 this July. Its always cheapest to fly on Virgin on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, but I’d suggesting searching on a number of different dates as well.

As an alternative, United Airlines offers direct roundtrip flights to Seattle for $159 on most days.

Sometime when flying Virgin America you need to book a couple weeks in advance. Also, when you do a search on their website, they will tell you the cheapest days to fly.

I’m hoping to fly up to Seattle one of these weekends to see the Mariners play either the Red Sox or Giants. At $139 roundtrip, I’d be paying more for my seat at Safeco Field and a couple of fine northwestern Lagers than for the flight itself.
