$460 - Roundtrip Flight to Berlin in Early May

Berlin Cathedral
Just found a number of cheap flights to Berlin from SFO in early May. After May 26th, flights get noticeably more expensive.
Flight Details: Fly out on May 8th on KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, with a short layover in Amsterdam. Fly back on May 19th on France Air, with a short layover in Paris. Total flight time each way is under 16 hours.
American Airlines and Delta are also offering one-stop flights to Berlin, but I prefer KLM and France Air, personally.
Things to Do in Berlin:
There’s no shortage of architecture, museums, restaurants, and nightlife in Berlin. For a night on the town, check out the former Eastern bloc slum turned party den Mitte District. Complimenting this district nicely are two posh neighborhoods with plenty of bars and clubs to choose from - Prenzlauer Berg and Friedrichshain. Some of the most infamous clubs in Berlin are:
King Kong Klub
Kaffee Burger
Weekend
Club Maria
Spindler & Klatt
For more of an alternative vibe, check out Schoneberg. This area has become an increasingly popular area for Berlin’s gay community, but it is also where David Bowie once spent much of his time in Berlin.

The Molecule Man sits on Top of the River, Seamingly Rising out of the Water.
Post Night Out:
If you can wake while its still light out, Berlin offers some of the most stunning architecture and culture in Europe. Some of the most popular destinations are the Pergamon Museum, the Reichstag, and the Ägyptisches Museum.
Most importantly, everywhere you walk in Berlin, you will see signs of artist influence and prominence. Probably best known for being the political center of Nazi, Germany during the 1940s and 50s, Berlin has a history of housing many more monarchs and rulers over the last 150 years. Berlin has also been home to some of the most successful European thinkers, musicians, artists, entrepreneurs, and industrialists of the last century.
You will have to visit Berlin for yourself to see their lasting impact.
