Escape to Roatan Island, Honduras for $650 Round Trip

Flight Details: Make sure to try searches for a number of different dates, but the flight I found is on 4/4 and 4/10, giving you 6 days to enjoy this island. Roatan can be in 80s year round, with little chance of rain except for the Hurricane season which stretches from August till mid-November.

Traveler note: there are often considerable layovers at the Houston airport. Sometimes as much as 10 hours.

Roatan Island is off the north coast of Honduras, fairly close to the much-hyped and equally impressive Belizean Cayes. Judging from this picture, it looks like Roatan Island has less sea grass which is prevalent through the Belize Islands.

Roatan Island is especially popular with divers, as its situated next to the biggest barrier reef in the Caribbean. Snorkeling is a must for visitors as well.
