$750 - Flight to Shanghai from SFO

In lieu of all of the latest announcements about discount flights on China Airlines, I’ve been looking up flights to a number of Southeast Asian cities.

In mid-May, Northwest Airlines is offering flights to Shanghai for $750 roundtrip, with a short stopover in Japan. The cheapest flights are on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Flights in June are a little bit more expensive, but I’m expecting prices to drop for this time period soon.

Direct flights in mid-May are in the $850 range. Direct flights to Shanghai are 10 hours and 13 hours each way. One-stop flights are 14 hours and 17 hours each way typically.
