You May Even Find a Baby in Your Hotel Room
For all of September and October, and for certain dates in July and August, Delta Airlines is offering direct roundtrip flights between New York and Las Vegas for $239.
This price is as good as I’ve seen lately.
Virgin America also offers direct flights between New York and Las Vegas, but their flights usually cost closer to $300.
Delta is running many flights between New York and Vegas, so you can catch a weekend flight at no added cost.

The Royal Palace of Madrid. No Big Deal.
This July, August, and September, there are many flights to Madrid from New York City going for $496 roundtrip including all taxes and fees. What’s better, these flights are all direct, and flight time is only between seven and 8 hours.
You could almost do a long weekend in Madrid at these prices.
Flight Details:
Flights are with Iberia Airlines and Air Europa.
I’ve never flown Air Europa, but I bet its based in Europe.
If you’re looking for a longer visit to Spain, Madrid can be the perfect jump off point, with quick and frequent flights to Barcelona, Seville, Grenada, or Malaga. You can also catch a train ride to any part of the country, or cross the border into Portugal.
And, if you’re feeling really adventurous, catch a 150 dollar flight to Morocco from Madrid.

Don't forget your lay !
This August and September, flight to Honolulu from Newark are going for $556 roundtrip including all taxes and fees.
Everything in Hawaii is on sale right now as well, including most hotel rooms, condos, apartments, and sublets. Even island hopping airline tickets are going for $25 a piece.
Flight Details:
Flights are typically one-stop, and go through either Atlanta, Salt Lake City, or LA. The cheapest flights I’ve found are with American Airlines or Delta, too of my least favorite airlines, but they’ll both get you there.
Flying to Hawaii is cheaper than flying to most European Cities right now.
One final note, a lot of the flights I’ve found to Honolulu only have a 10 or so seats left, so I’d book your flight sooner than later if you can.

Disclaimer: Its hard to find Budweiser in Australia
Through November,
Qantas is offering SERIOUSLY discounted flights to Sydney from New York City.
Fly roundtrip for no more than $715, including all taxes and fees. I have never seen prices this cheap for flights between Sydney and New York City.
This price includes the $200 additional tax that is planted onto all flights to Australia. So, some airlines will advertise flights for about this much , but in reality it will be about $1000 or more.
Here is some flight price background for flights to Australia from New York City.
These are one-stop filghts and they take about 23 hours each way. Yes, that’s about a day in the air. Hope you have a couple good books, though Qantas offers in flight entertainment and personal TV screens.
United doesn’t offer that.

Orlando Has the Most Rollercoasters per Capita in the US
Don’t be fooled, a lot of flight search engines will show you non-stop flights between New York City and Orlando for $150 on a number of airlines. Chances are, you are getting these results because you selected ‘ nearby airports ‘ for your departure city, and then the search engine starts serving up flights leaving from Philadelphia and Bethlehem.
If you can get to Philadelphia or Bethlehem just as easily as JFK or Newark, then, yup, flights are $150 roundtrip for non-stop flights to Orlando.
For the rest of us, flight prices to Orlando aren’t moving much from the just-under-200 mark.
We’ll be keeping an eye on these flights though because this is a very popular route, even in the heat of summer.
Hope you like rollercoasters if you are going to Orlando, home to The Hulk, Rip Ride, among others across multiple theme parks. Orlando is no longer home to just Disney World.

Get Your Bungee and Jump on at Interlaken Switzerland
Flights to Zurich, Switzerland from New York City are going for $433 right now on a number of days, especially in mid-late July and in August. This is one of the cheapest flights to Europe I’ve seen in a while, and definitely the cheapest price for flights to Switzerland.
Flights to Spain are some of the cheapest in Europe right now as well.
Flight Details:
Flights are non-stop on either Delta or Continental. Flight time between New York and Zurich is about nine hours for direct flights. With a short layover, flight time between New York and Zurich is about 12 hours.
Travel from Zurich:
From Zurich, I’d highly suggest jumping on a train for at least a couple of days in Interlaken, the adventure capital of Europe, and maybe of the world. In Interlaken, Switzerland, choose from hundreds of extreme activites, or just casual adventures including Canyoning, Zorbing, Bungee Jumping, Canyon Jumping, Sky Diving, Biking, Hiking, and more.
Be aware, though Interlaken offers some of the most scenic sky diving that you will find anywhere, it is also one of the most expensive places to do it. Maybe consider throwing yourself out of a plane at 20,000 feet in the air at another location..
For casual accomodations in Interlaken, I’d highly suggest either The Funny Farm or Balmer’s Hotel. I’ve spent a number of hours at both of these places.

Thank Mr. Gaudi for the Trippy Apartment Front
Throughout July and August, a number of airlines are offering discount flights to Barcelona from New York, including Delta, Iberia, and Air France.
I found a number of different cheap flights to Barcelona for $537 leaving in mid to late July at 7 day intervals.
Direct flights between Barcelona and New York take about 8 hours. One stop flights tend to be 10-14 hours, depending on the length of your layovers. Layovers are then typically in Madrid, Paris, or Valencia.
The cheapest Barcelona flights tend to fly on Wednesdays. Try browsing flights on Thursdays and Saturdays as well for discounts.
Spain is one of the cheapest countries in Europe to fly to right now. If you have already been to Barcelona, try searches for Madrid, Valencia, Grenada, or Malaga. All are fantastic Spanish cities, and all offer quick cheap flights to Morocco as well, which could take your trip to another level.

Mmmmm.... Tapas
Barcelona is also one of my favorite cities in Europe. Its one of the few cities that I would go back to over and over again. There’s almost too much to do here between dining on Tapas, eating fresh seafood, going to the beach, visiting museums, walking through the old town, and shopping, and that doesn’t even consider the quick train and bus rides to other parts of Catalonia, Spain, and southern France.

White Blazer Optional
This July and for parts of August as well, Delta is offering non-stop roundtrip flights to Miami from JFK airport in New York City.
Flight Details:
The cheapest flights are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. $169 includes fare surcharges and taxes.
Flight time between Miami and New York City is about three hours each way for direct flights.
American Airlines also offers some discount flights to Miami
Things to Do in Miami:
Once in Miami, head straight for South Beach or Coconut Grove, two of the most happening areas. For a more adventurous vacation, rent a car and drive north to the Everglades State Forest, or head south to the Florida Keys.

Mumbai and Delhi are Two of the Largest Airports in India
Continental Airlines recently
announced discount flights to India, but I found even cheaper flights from New York City to Delhi on both KLM Airlines and Northwest Airlines.
Both airlines offer one-stop flights to Delhi, India from New York City for $754 roundtrip in late August. Flights on other dates are about $900 round trip.
$754 flight cost includes airport and airlines taxes and fees.
These one stop flights between New York and Delhi take between 19 and 20 hours each way , with short layovers in Amsterdam.
Considering how expensive it is to fly to Europe right now, it might be a good time to start taking a look at flights to India, Africa, and other parts of Asia.

Keep Yours Eyes Open in Vegas!
Roundtrip flights to Las Vegas from New York City continue to hover around $239. The cheapest flights to Las Vegas are typically flights that leave on either Thursday or Friday, and that return on either Sunday or Monday.
Flights are direct and take between 5 and 6 hours.
Delta offers some of the cheapest flights between Las Vegas and New York City currently. United, US Airways, and Continental Airlines also offer direct flights to Las Vegas.
Virgin America offers direct flights to Las Vegas as well, but their flights are much more expensive, and many of them require a quick layover in another city.
