Qantas recently extended their deadline for booking their discount flights to Australia until March 20th (This Friday). Book It.

Flights from New York to Eastern Australia are usually $1500-2000 so this is a huge bargain. Considering the current economic climate, I wouldn’t be surprised if another deal like this emerge in the coming months, but I can’t think of these prices going any lower, unless the Australian tourism board decides to subsidize these flights in a big way.
