$402 - Flights to Athens from LAX - Late August

This is getting rediculous. And I thought the flights from San Francisco to Athens were cheap. I just found a flight in late August to Athens from LA for $402 roundtrip including all taxes and fees.

There are about 5 different flights on Delta Airlines that are operating on Wednesday August 19th and Thursday September 3rd for $402 roundtrip.

That’s a 14 day vacation in Greece, and the cost of getting there is just about 400 bucks.

Flights between LA and Athens for any day are usually around $650, which is still extremely cheap, especially compared to the other flights to Europe from LAX these days.

Flight time on one-stop flights between LA and Athens is about 14-16 hours.

From Athens, Then What?

The biggest party islands in Greece are Mykonos, Ios, Santorini, Rhodes, Kos, or Korfu, but any Greek Islander will tell you that their Island has the best parties, and if you think about it, pretty much any of the islands will offer hot sun, beaches, and discos.

For a more relaxed time, head over to Crete or Kefalonia.

Don’t forget, Turkey, Italy, and Croatia are all just a short ferry away from certain Greek Islands as well, so if you have two weeks, you can loop in another country or two.
