AirTran is now offering direct flights between Chicago and Orlando. Flight price includes all taxes and fees, so you would be flying to the home of amusement parks for under 200 dollars roundtrip.

Flight time is about 2 and half hours each way.

The cheapest days to fly are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Speaking of rollercoasters, Orlando actually has the most rollercoasters per capita in the US, and I’m pretty sure the world.

This July and August, Delta is offering flights to Dublin, Ireland from Chicago on a number of different dates. Flights typically have a short layover in JFK, and last about 10 hours in total.

American Airlines is also offering direct flights between Dublin and Chicago which cost just under 600 dollars.

Ireland is one of the cheapest places to fly to in Europe currently, along with Spain, Germany, and Greece, plus the occasional flight to Italy.

Just before Hurricane season, catch a cheap flight to Cancun, Mexico from Chicago for $259.

Flights are one-stop with most carriers, often stopping in Memphis, Houston, or Dallas.

Look for flights with Northwest, Delta, or AirTran.

From Cancun, you can head straight for the bars and clubs, or rent a car, and drive slightly inland to the many Mayan artifacts scattered around the area.

My suggestion would be to head south to Tulum, where there are many under water caves and coastal Mayan cities to investigate.

Not much price movement here, but prices on flights between Chicago and Denver are going for $239 on most days with Frontier Airlines.

America and United Airlines also offering flights for about $250.
